Supper 4ALL: A Night of Joy, Collaboration, and Community.

We did it! Our first Supper 4ALL pilot was a huge success and what a night it was. From the moment guests arrived, there was an incredible buzz in the air. The room was full of laughter, good food, live music, and genuine connection. We all couldn’t stop smiling all night. This pilot was more than just a dinner, it was a celebration of what can happen when communities come together around shared values of sustainability, creativity, and inclusion.

Thanks to everyone who supported the idea, bought a ticket, and came along to enjoy the evening. Your participation made it possible for us to create something truly special.

The feedback from community members who benefited from your involvement has been overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait to share their words with you soon. For now, we just want to say how proud and grateful we are for the collective effort that brought this vision to life.

A special thank you goes to some of the organisations who helped make the night possible - Farm Urban, FareShare, and In Our Nature, for supporting our mission.

And, of course, to the dream team: Zos, Aga, Matty, Jess, Adam, Izzy, and Tom — thank you for your hard work, creativity, and dedication.

This project was powered by collaboration. With support from the Young Gamechangers, we were able to turn the event into a platform for emerging artists, photographers, and musicians, offering paid opportunities to young creatives while enriching the evening for everyone present.

The mushrooms featured in the meal were grown from spent coffee grounds collected from Rudy’s Pizza, as part of a wider initiative supported by the GMCA Foundational Economy programme, transforming waste into community nourishment with our partners at Nornir. It’s a beautiful example of how circular systems can thrive when passion meets purpose.

For both Gwafu and myself, this dinner was the realisation of a long-held passion, creating spaces that are welcoming, sustainable, creative and accessible to all, where people from every background can sit together, share a meal, and celebrate local food… you might say, something 4ALL!

The idea first emerged back in spring and after months of planning, meetings, and collaboration, and a great deal of support from our friend Aga who consistently pulled us all together and massively helped coordinate and run the event, that idea finally took shape, and it couldn’t have gone better.

…Our pilot now has a team of hungry flight attendants ready to make it work, and you can look forward to evolving into a series of future community dinners and accessible skill-sharing projects built on the same spirit of joy, sustainability, and togetherness.
