What a cracking spring day! The sun came out just in time for our latest mushroom harvest, and we couldn't be more excited to share the fruits (or should we say fungi?) of our labour with the community.
Here at Fungall, we're all about growing more than just mushrooms. We're growing skills, confidence, and a deeper connection with nature—and today was a perfect reminder of why we do what we do.
As we harvested trays full of fresh oyster mushrooms, the garden filled with laughter, learning, and that earthy mushroom scent that tells you something good is happening. These little beauties will be heading out to local groups and neighbours, adding a delicious, healthy boost to meals around Manchester.
But beyond the harvest, days like today are what Fungall is all about: sharing knowledge, building community, and showing how mushrooms can be a small but mighty force for good. Whether it's food security, sustainable growing, or just the joy of learning something new, we're here to grow together.
More spring sunshine? Yes, please. More mushroom magic? Absolutely. Keep an eye out—this is just the beginning of a season full of good food, great people, and plenty of fungus fun.
Thanks to everyone who helped out today, and to all of you supporting us—let’s keep rooting for each other 🌱🍄💚
